On 30 May at the CNR ISMAR headquarters in Venice, in the heart of the Venice Boat Show, Infordata Sistemi and VLPF (Venice Lagoon Plastic Free) presented the Remedies Shoreline ML App at the 4th International Workshop on Marine Litter Monitoring, Removal and Cicrular Economy. The app, developed by the Infordata team, is a scientific app with complex processing, but with a simplified interface, making it an excellent tool for ‘citizen science’. That is, it facilitates beach cleaning by involving associations, school groups, students and private citizens in general.
In the morning, practical cases of waste monitoring and removal using the app and its integration with solutions proposed by other Remedies project partners were presented.
After the lunch break, the meeting was more focused on possible further uses of the app and the exchange of questions/answers between the representatives of Infordata Sistemi and VLPF with the stakeholders in the audience.
