On 23 and 24 April 2024, in Tirana, Albania, REMEDIES partner ETMI organised the fourth General Assembly of the programme, which brought together all 23 REMEDIES partners. Held at the Tirana International Hotel & Conference Centre, the event was a platform to showcase the successes of the programme, discuss next steps and promote meaningful collaboration between international partners.
The agenda was packed with stimulating sessions and discussions, giving participants a comprehensive overview of the programme’s progress and future goals. During the assembly, leaders from all work packages (WP) presented their efforts and outlined future goals.
During the assembly, participants engaged in parallel sessions focusing on key topics suggested by the task-leading partners. These sessions facilitated focused discussions and collaborations on topics such as the approach to monitoring demonstration sites using underwater drones and the development of business models and socio-ecological governance of local stakeholders.
The Infordata team presented developments and implementations of the Shoreline ML platform and application. In addition to this, the Infordata team also optimised the Complete Underwater Monitoring Management System with data received from buoys, aerial drones and submarines.
Overall, the fourth REMEDIES General Assembly was a great success, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing and paving the way for further progress in environmental remediation efforts.
