The REMEDIES Innovation Marketplace was established with the aim of scaling and enhancing the marketability of all technologies and innovations developed through the REMEDIES program. It serves as a dynamic platform that connects innovations with the right audience—potential users, investors, and buyers—by showcasing their technical characteristics, value proposition, scalability, and the specific environmental or societal challenges they address. Through this marketplace, each innovation is presented not only as a standalone solution but also as a driver of impact, offering clear insights into its potential for real-world application and sustainable growth.
A dynamic page where funding opportunities is also available! Tools are added frequently, including detailed information such as: type of financing tool, name, region/country, type of funding granted (loan, grant, etc.), eligibility criteria, sector/area, and budget range. REMEDIES Shoreline Marine Litter App v.1.0
The REMEDIES Shoreline Marine Litter app is an innovative digital tool designed to revolutionise the detection and monitoring of litter on beaches. This app enables citizen scientists and stakeholders to efficiently collect and manage marine litter data, while seamless integration with a data storage portal ensures standardised, comparable and usable information. The REMEDIES app fills gaps in marine litter data across Europe, enabling evidence-based policy-making and effective interventions. Building on and expanding the functionality of the H2020 MAELSTROM app, the REMEDIES app offers unique features such as automatic metadata management, automatic measurement of 100-metre transects, J-code identification of waste, GPS-independent operation, management of unknown waste, photo identification of waste, and optional differentiation of polymer types.

Impact Evaluation Dashboard
The Impact Evaluation Dashboard stands out for its comprehensive integration, user-centric design, and real-time environmental monitoring. Unlike traditional, fragmented solutions, this dashboard consolidates multiple data sources, including beach clean-up activities, drone surveillance, and buoy monitoring, into a single platform.
Its data synthesis capabilities assess the replicability of successful interventions in demonstration sites and applications, facilitating effective project expansion. Intuitive visualisations improve data interpretability, promoting transparency and accessibility for a wide audience.
