Once again, for the 2022 edition of the Sanremo Festival (The Italian Song Festival), RAI (Italian Broadcasting Corporation) has chosen Infordata Sistemi to manage access control and computerized anti-COVID security for the entire festival staff. This includes Rai operators, technical staff, journalists, stewards, as well as the competing singers, guests, and presenters.

This demanding assignment began at the end of 2021, involving a tailor-made project of considerable scale in terms of personnel and areas to be monitored. It had strict deadlines and technologies adhering to the stringent rules set by RAI to ensure the safe conduct of the entire music festival.

At all the entrances to both indoor and outdoor spaces involved in the event, including the Ariston Theatre, the Casino, the Palafiori, the Red Carpet, and the buffer area, Infordata provided cutting-edge control software and RFID readers to verify authorization for access to specific areas by reading a badge containing a “high-security” chip. They also supplied devices for reading QR codes to automatically check the Green Pass and temperature.
